Overview
We’re pleased to offer an on demand options for the The Pathology of Neoplastic Diseases 2024 course, originally held live from April 29 to May 3, 2024.
This on demand option is dedicated exclusively to Thoracic Pathology, providing a comprehensive and up-to-date review. The lectures incorporate the appropriate use of advanced diagnostic techniques, such as immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology, and include the assessment of therapeutic biomarkers. Lectures include:
The Department of Pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center has produced this course for 40 years, continuously expanding its scope to reflect the increasing contributions of cytopathology, immunopathology, and molecular pathology. The course faculty includes attending pathology staff from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, along with selected visiting lecturers.
This course is designed for practicing pathologists in both academic and private practice settings, as well as residents and fellows in pathology who wish to broaden their understanding of neoplastic diseases.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this on demand, learners will be able to:
- Label current classifications and diagnostic criteria for tumors and tumor-like lesions
- Highlight the appropriate use of ancillary diagnostic techniques
- Discuss differential diagnoses and understand the practical, problem- oriented approach
- Identify clinical pathological features of the various tumor entities
