This Subscription-Based Review provides senior trainees and clinicians in practice a comprehensive update of clinical knowledge. It helps prepare them for their Radiation Oncology exams (the initial certification and MOC). Emphasis is on evidence-based medicine, board-relevant standards of care, and new concepts, treatments, and imaging approaches. The written exams emphasize anatomy, epidemiology, etiological agents, natural history, pathology, tumor markers, initial clinical evaluation, staging, routes of spread, selection of treatment modality and techniques, surgical and adjuvant chemotherapy treatments, follow-up treatment and assessment, patterns of failure, and normal tissue effects including complications; all of these areas are addressed.
